Kara, a certified GIA gemologist has a love of colored stones that manifests in their frequent use in jewelry and handbags. In January 2008, Kara Ross won the FGI Rising Star Accessories Award. Inspired by alternative materials and stones like jet, marcasite, lava, wood, chalcedony, her vision is to create jewelry that has character and imagination. Natural flaws only add to the beauty and character of the piece. Like people, no two stones are alike.
