Tell us about the age and condition of your item, where you bought it and how much you paid. We require a minimum retail price of $150.
Next, take pictures of your handbag and upload them to the form. Documenting any imperfections is very important and minimizes the chances of your handbag being returned. You must also include a picture of the bag's serial number. A quote will not be provided without it.
Any documentation you have that authenticates your handbag helps significantly. So if you have it, you'll want to include them in the pictures too. These can include the original receipt, packaging materials, authentication card, price tag, registration card, dust bag, and original hardware.Your item will be reviewed by our in-house authentication experts, and if your handbags, jewelry, sunglasses or watches meet our requirements, a quote will be sent to you. It will be based on a number of factors: the age and condition of your item, rarity, retail price, sales of comparable items, current fashion trends, and the availability of the original materials highlighted in Step One.
Your quote is valid for 30 days. If you accept the quote, you will have two choices for compensation: a cash payment or a store credit equal to 10% more than the cash quote. A store credit can be used at BagBorroworSteal.com or BBOSPrivateSale.com and automatically applies to your next transaction - you don't have to do anything. And a store credit never expires!
If you accept the quote, we'll email you a link to a pre-paid shipping label. You simply package your item - along with the quote and any original materials mentioned in Step One - and send it to us with the label free of charge. Each item must have its individual quote sheet included in order for us to receive the items. We are not responsible for items that are sent without a quote sheet.
Once it arrives at our warehouse, we will promptly verify its condition and authenticity. If we accept it, we will issue you a check or credit (as you've directed) within 3-7 business days. If there is a long queue we will notify you about the delay. Your item will appear in a future Private Sale and will be on its way to a new home in no time!
Should your item, regrettably, not be accepted, we will promptly return it to you at our expense.
Now rent or buy as many items as you wish - and only pay one flat fee to ship everything. There's no limit to the size of your order. And as always, free return shipping on all rentals is included.
